Our Irish Whiskeys
The fact that Kilbeggan Distillery is alive and well is a testament to the people who live here today. The process used to distill the whiskey is a testament to the people who came before. The same pot stills from centuries ago are still on-site, and the whiskey still runs through a building erected well before the advent of electricity.

Small Batch Rye Whiskey
Kilbeggan® Small Batch Rye is a product of the town’s perseverance – the first whiskey 100% distilled and matured at the Kilbeggan Distillery to be released since its restoration was completed in 2010. Featuring a heritage mash of malt, barley, and 30% rye, this whiskey hearkens back to the 1890s when many large Irish distillers used rye in their mash. However, this spicy grain virtually disappeared from the Irish Whiskey category around the time of Prohibition and the Irish War of Independence. Double distilled in Kilbeggan’s copper pot stills – one of which is the oldest working whiskey pot still in the world today – Kilbeggan® Small Batch Rye is the first of its kind in today’s market, as it is the only modern Irish Whiskey of record to use this amount of rye in its mash.

Single Pot Still Whiskey
Kilbeggan® Single Pot Still is a glorious tribute to the town and those who kept its whiskey alive, proudly wearing the colour of County Westmeath on its label. It is the second limited release whiskey to be 100% distilled and matured at Ireland’s oldest licensed distillery, and the oldest expression to be released since distillation resumed at Kilbeggan in 2010. Double distilled, once through the oldest working whiskey pot still in the world, Kilbeggan® Single Pot Still is a unique mash of malted barley, raw barley, and 2.5% oats that was inspired by historical recipes from the distillery’s heyday in the late-1800s.
